Relationships and Chakras

According to the Hindu scriptures there are 7 types of relationships that we can experience in our lives. These 7 categories of relationships achieve a certain type of harmony between two people that correspond to our 7 chakra centers:

  • root chakra,
  • sacral chakra,
  • solar plexus chakra,
  • heart chakra,
  • throat chakra,
  • third eye chakra,
  • crown chakra

Root chakra couples are ruled by the planet mars, and tend to have an intense honeymoon period, and aspects of this can feel a lot like love to them. Of course with time, the honey moon period gradually fades, and then they are usually left with bitterness and disappointment. Aspects of the honeymoon period can feel a lot like love to them. The relationship tends to be very up and down, never quite finding the right balance. They experience dizzying highs and deep low

The Sacral chakra is the spiritual energy center connected to happiness, confidence and resourcefulness. It is also linked to the negative shades of greed, fear and self preservation. A couple that makes a connection through their sacral chakra, create a love that is based on a mutual desire for comfort and wealth. This chakra is influenced by the planet Venus. When this couple come together they first harmonize on the sacral level, and over time the root chakra may open up as well.

The solar plexus is the power center of our energy chakras located in our light body. The solar plexus is connected to our ambitions and goals. Material pleasures in life can be further divided into two forms: the heavy and the subtle. The heavy worldly material pleasures are things like beautiful things – houses, cars, objects. This is what the Sacral Chakra Couple aspires too. One step higher than this is the subtle form of wordily material pleasures – which is the search for fame, prestige, and power. They want to get married for power and prestige.

The Heart Centered Couple is the first chakra under the higher level energy centers – and therefore, is the first chakra to yield a “favorable relationship”. Thus, this couple will have more opportunities for happiness than opportunities for unhappiness. They usually have lasting marriages. These favorable relationships give both people the chance to cleanse their consciousness, to work through their karma, and to fulfill their dharma.

Those motivated by the throat chakra (the ruling planet – mercury) are inclined to perfect their senses. They want to tune in their senses into the ethereal world. They practice meditation to have a higher level of senses. So that they can hear, feel, see, know and understand their messages from the universe. hey wish happiness to everyone they think about. It is also important for throat centered couples to cultivate self control and honesty.

Those under the influence of their third-eye chakra, are ruled by the planet Saturn. These are people who have been practicing self realization for many lives. The couple come together to practice self perfection together. They have a very deep psychic harmony that allows them to completely give their lives to each other. They are committed to studying the highest truth of the universe. They want to experience God. This relationship is very rare. These people are usually spiritual teachers. They live simply for other people and not for themselves.

Those activated at the crown chakra, ruled by the planet Jupiter, create an unearthly and mystical love. The woman thinks of her husband as her teacher, her guru, and she trusts him completely. She is always loyal to him. Her husband behaves as a saint would. After they die, they go into the spiritual world, where they can be together forever. They have completed their work. This is a very high level type of love.

The Chakras

we are more than just the physical body. Our body is an energetic system through which the universal life force flows. Our seven chakras are a part of this energetic system – they connect us with the larger part of ourselves, the universe, and at the same time they hold the secrets to a healthy, prosperous and gratifying life.

Sacred Chants of Shiva

Mano Buddhi Ahankara Chitta Ninaham
Nacha Shrotra Jihve Na Cha Ghrana Netre
Nacha Vyoma Bhoomir Na Tejo Na Vayu
Chidananda Rupa Shivoham Shivoham

I am not mind, nor intellect, nor ego,
nor the reflections of inner self (chitta).
I am not the five senses.
I am beyond that.
I am not the ether, nor the earth,
nor the fire, nor the wind .
I am indeed,
That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva,
love and pure consciousness.

Na Cha Prana Samjno Na Vai Pancha Vayu
Na Va Saptadhatur Na Va Pancha Koshah
Na Vak Pani Padau Na Chopastha Payu
Chidananda Rupa Shivoham Shivoham

Neither can I be termed as energy (Prana),
nor five types of breath (vayus),
nor the seven material essences,
nor the five coverings (pancha-kosha).
Neither am I the five instruments of elimination,
procreation, motion, grasping, or speaking.
I am indeed,
That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva,
love and pure consciousness.

Na Me Dvesha Ragau Na Me Lobha Mohau
Mado Naiva Me Naiva Matsarya Bhavah
Na Dharmo Na Chartho Na Kamo Na Mokshah
Chidananda Rupa Shivoham Shivoham

I have no hatred or dislike,
nor affiliation or liking,
nor greed,
nor delusion,
nor pride or haughtiness,
nor feelings of envy or jealousy.
I have no duty (dharma),
nor any money,
nor any desire (kama),
nor even liberation (moksha).
I am indeed,
That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva,
love and pure consciousness.

Na Punyam Na Papam Na Saukhyam Na Dukham
Na Mantro Na Teertham Na Vedo Na Yajnaha
Aham Bhojanam Naiva Bhojyam Na Bhokta
Chidananda Rupa Shivoham Shivoham

I have neither virtue (Punyam),
nor vice (Papam).
I do not commit sins or good deeds,
nor have happiness or sorrow,
pain or pleasure.
I do not need mantras, holy places,
scriptures (Vedas), rituals or sacrifices (yagnas).
I am none of the triad of
the observer or one who experiences,
the process of observing or experiencing,
or any object being observed or experienced.
I am indeed,
That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva,
love and pure consciousness.

Na Me Mrityu Shanka Na Me Jati Bhedah
Pita Naiva Me Naiva Mata Na Janma
Na Bandhur Na Mitram Gurur Naiva Shishyah
Chidananda Rupa Shivoham Shivoham

I do not have fear of death,
as I do not have death.
I have no separation from my true self,
no doubt about my existence,
nor have I discrimination on the basis of birth.
I have no father or mother,
nor did I have a birth.
I am not the relative,
nor the friend,
nor the guru,
nor the disciple.
I am indeed,
That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva,
love and pure consciousness.

Aham Nirvikalpo Nirakara Roopaha
Vibhur Vyapya Sarvatra Sarvendriyanam
Sada Me Samatvam Na Muktir Na Bandhah
Chidananda Rupa Shivoham Shivoham

I am all pervasive.
I am without any attributes,
and without any form.
I have neither attachment to the world,
nor to liberation (mukti).
I have no wishes for anything
because I am everything,
every time,
always in equilibrium.
I am indeed,
That eternal knowing and bliss, Shiva,
love and pure consciousness.

The mind

The mind is the CPU in us but the question is do we know how it works?  We live in an infinite universe characterized by duality. To everything that surrounds us there are two sides, there is day and night, the positive and the negative, the rich and the poor, the conscious mind and the subconscious mind.  These two sides of the mind are distinctively different.

The conscious mind vs the subconscious mind

The conscious mind, is the surface self, the voluntary mind, the objective mind or the rational mind. The Conscious mind is that part that we use when we brush our teeth.

The subconscious mind is the deep self, the involuntary mind, the subjective mind or the irrational mind.  Our subjective mind is trained by every day events. Our belief system is rooted in the subconscious mind.

An excellent way to get acquainted with the two functions of your mind is to look upon your own mind as a garden. You are a gardener, and you are planting seeds (thoughts) in your subconscious mind all day long, based on your habitual thinking. As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and experience

A very interesting example of this would be the fact that I grew up watching my parents having issues with trusting each other.  My father would constantly question my mother’s sincerity towards him and they would argue almost every night after I was sleeping. So I grew up with an insecure factor about relationships, this is a one of the belief rooted in my subconscious mind.  Naturally, this would be a part of my present relationships, I would not trust easily and have a feeling of insecurity in my heart.

It is mentioned in hindu scriptures that religion, truthfulness, cleanliness, tolerance, mercy, duration of human life, physical strength and memory will all diminish substantially because of the powerful influence of the age of Kaliyuga…

The present age we are living in is Kalyuga also known as dark age. It is definitely an evolutionary time that is full of conspiracies.  There is a lot going on around us, lots of things happening in the background of main scene, much of which most or everyone is unaware of. A lot of the consequences of present times are due to extensive mind programming and which is happening through social networking websites, television, the radio, the media in general.  We are constantly being brainwashed through the above mentioned mediums.  The subconscious mind is a targeted victim of this.

Secondly the food that we consume have been chemically engineered to alter our brains functionalities. To explicitly give an example, water and toothpaste include fluoride and this has a direct impact on the pineal gland also referred as the Third Eye or the sixth Chakra.

These may seem really anything to you but if you go and study about the subconscious mind and the pineal gland then your opinion will change forever.
